Kokoo Pa’s farmers produce honey for sale.

As part of its additional livelihood and gender program, Kokoo Pa member farmers in Ahwerewam in the Ashanti region of Ghana have harvested honey from bee hives sited for this purpose for sale. This pilot project was particularly to empower the women farmers under the Cocoa Livelihood Project. Selected number of farmers now have the skill to bring in additional income to augment income from the sale of their cocoa. Support for this project was received from World Cocoa Foundation.
